    Skin Booster (Teosyal)

    Looking to boost your overall skin quality? This treatment is great for fine lines, acne scarring, dehydrated skin under eyes, full face and neck.

    Skin boosters are micro-injections of hyaluronic acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals into the dermal layer of the skin to improve the quality of the skin. The hyaluronic acid molecules draw moisture into the skin, which improve hydration and overall plumpness of the skin. Over time, these injections also stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis, which ultimately improve the firmness of the skin. Rather than applying hyaluronic acid serums whereby molecules are too large to penetrate into the skin, injections of hyaluronic acid molecules allow moisture to penetrate fully into the skin with the additional benefits of collagen and elastin stimulation over time.

    What is Redensity I?

    Teosyal Puresense Redensity I is a unique hyaluronic acid based skin enhancer which restores skin density and maintains skin glow. It has the added benefit of three antioxidants, eight amino acids, two minerals and a vitamin, it repairs the quality of the skin while hydrating it.

      • How many treatments are needed? ​

        For optimal results, it is best to treat for 3 sessions 3-4 weeks apart. This will give immediate and cumulative results. For maintenance, as soon as the need is felt, or 1 further session every 6 months.

      • When do you see the results?

        The skin is hydrated, supple and less creased immediately. With each treatment the complexion looks increasingly radiant and skin becomes firmer. Following the recommended treatment protocol will prolong the effects of the treatment.

      • Where can Redensity I be used?

        Redensity I can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

      • What are the indications for its use?

        Regularly as a core treatment to prevent aging. It can also be used to treat any uneven skin texture e.g acne scarring. This treatment can be used in alternation with or as a complement to other treatments. Lastly, it can also be used to rehydrate and give a new glow to your skin especially after prolonged sun exposure.

    Your expert consultation gives you the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you might have. We will talk through all you need to know about skin boosters, assess your skin with regards to your medical and aesthetic skin concerns. We will also discuss your aims to develop a treatment plan that is exactly right for your skin. In some individuals, a combination of treatments are recommended to achieve the full effects. Full information on what the procedure involves, risks and aftercare instructions will be given.

    2 The Treatment

    The shallow injections evenly place small quantities of Redensity I around the surface of the whole face. The product contains a local anaesthetic called lidocaine which is for enhanced comfort. Treatment takes 10-20 minutes. You may see multiple small lumps at the injection sites which tend to disappear within 1-2 days. If you experience any redness or swelling this may take a few days to disappear but generally no longer than a week. Bruising can rarely occur and this can take 2-3 weeks to resolve.

    3 Aftercare

    We provide patients with an aftercare leaflet after your procedure. Our Patient Advisor will also give you a ring after your procedure to check on you to ensure that your concerns are answered.
